現在げんざい、日本にほんにはプロバスケットボールリーグのB.LEAGUEがあります。元々もともとはNBLとbjリーグという2つのバスケットボールリーグがありましたが、2016年ねんにこの2つのリーグを統一とういつして、B.LEAGUEができました。

Currently, Japan has a professional basketball league, B.LEAGUE. Originally, there were two basketball leagues, the NBL and the bj League, but in 2016, these two leagues were unified as the B.LEAGUE.

B.LEAGUEができたことで、日本にほん国内こくないにおけるバスケットボールはかなりレベルアップしました。

B.LEAGUEには、日本にほんのトップ選手せんしゅだけでなく、海外かいがいからも多おおくの選手せんしゅが在籍ざいせきしており、高たかいレベルの試合しあいがくりひろげられています。

B.LEAGUE は、B1とB2があり、B1は2022年ねん9月がつから2023年ねん5月がつごろまで開催かいさいされています。

B.LEAGUE has not only the top players from Japan, but also many players from overseas, and the league has a high level of competition.

B.LEAGUE consists of B1 and B2, and B1 will be held from September 2022 to May 2023.

B.LEAGUEでは、東ひがし地区ちく、中なか地区ちく、西にし地区ちくの3つにわかれ、レギュラーシーズンをおこなっています。

プレーオフにはB1リーグ戦せんにおける各かく地区ちくの1位いおよび2位いのクラブと、各かく地区ちくの上位じょうい2クラブをのぞいた12クラブのうち上位じょうい2クラブがプレーオフ本大会ほんたいかいに参加さんかし、日本一にほんいちが決きまります。

2021年ねんに開催かいさいされた東京とうきょうオリンピックでは銀ぎんメダルをとり、日本にほんで大おおきな話題わだいとなりました。

アメリカのNBAでは、渡部雄太わたなべゆうたや八村塁はちむらるいが活躍かつやくをし、日本にほんでニュースが取とりあげられることも多おおくなりました。

また、渡嘉敷来夢とかしきらむや町田瑠唯まちだるいもアメリカの女子じょしプロリーグであるWNBAにチャレンジし、活躍かつやくしました。

2023年ねん8月がつ～9月がつに、フィリピン、インドネシア、日本にほん（沖縄おきなわ）で「FIBAバスケットボールワールドカップ2023」が開催かいさいされます。世界せかいの32か国こくが優勝ゆうしょうをめざして熱あつい戦たたかいをします。

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will be held in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Japan (Okinawa) from August to September 2023. The 32 countries of the world will compete for the championship.

〈ポジション/Positions〉

バスケットボールにはおもに３つのポジションがあります。

「ガード（Guard）」、「フォワード（Forward）」そして「センター（Center）」です。

もう少すこしこまかくわけることもできますので、１つずつ見みていきましょう。
